DIRECTIONS FOR
USE:
PERpose™ Plant
& Soil Oxygen Enhancer oxygenates plants and soils and
will maintain healthy plant roots, while allowing a more efficient
movement of oxygen and nutrients. PERpose™ can also reduce
the problems associated with anaerobic conditions. PERpose™
can be applied as a foliar and/or soil drench, into the root
zone.
Compatibility
Do not use at higher than
recommended application rates as leaf burn may result. PERpose™
Plant and Soil Oxygen Enhancer provides a source of activated oxygen
applied directly over plant surfaces and into the soil, and has been shown
not to cause adverse cosmetic effects on most
plants.
Solution Preparation
PERpose™ works best when diluted with water containing low levels
of organic, or inorganic materials, and having a neutral
pH.
Thoroughly
rinse out mixing tank with water before mixing concentrate, or residues
may cause product to lose effectiveness.
1.
PERpose™
will readily mix with clean, neutral water and does not require
agitation.
2.
PERpose™
concentrate must not be combined or mixed with any other pesticide or
fertilizer. 3.
Do not
reuse already mixed solution; make fresh daily.
4.
Prepare a
solution by filling the tank with the required volume of water and then
adding concentrate as required.
For use as an Oxygen Enhancer
on plant material and in soils, including bedding plants,
flowering plants, roses, poinsettia, ornamentals, nursery stock, trees,
turf, bulbs, seedlings, seeds, and seedbeds, etc.
For oxygen enhancement of
plants and soils PERpose™ applied through
injectors, misting systems, sprayers, irrigation and chemigation systems,
will maintain healthy plant roots. Another side benefit is the
reduction/elimination of mineral crustation (Scale build-up) in lines,
filters, mist/fog heads, tanks, cool pads, etc.
For irrigation systems,
Including (flooded floors, flooded benches, recycled water systems, and
misting systems). Treat water with ¾ to 1 gallon
of product per 10,000 gallons of water.
For soil application during
mist propagation of plugs, inject PERpose™ into the
misting system. Inject PERpose™ using a 1:1000 dilution
rate, for four to ten days on a consecutive basis. Maintain concentration
of 1:1000to 1:5000 throught the propagation cycle to maintain healthy
roots.
Using PERpose™ as a soil drench.
Used
as a soil drench at the time of seeding or transplanting, as well as a
periodic drench, will maintain healthy plant roots. PERpose™
can also be used on potting soil and growing medium prior to
planting.
1. Use 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water.
2. Apply to soil or
growing media to the point of saturation.
PERpose ™Applied into the soil
via foliar application in greenhouses.
Foliar application with
PERpose™ directly over plant material is an excellent method of supplying
additional oxygen as it runs down leaves, flowers and stems and into the
soil.
Applying PERpose™ over ornamentals, bedding plants, flowering
plants, shrubs and trees will maintain healthy plant
roots.
Initial
Application:
1. Use ¾ fl. oz per gallon of
water.
2. Spray, or mist, over plants and into the soil in early
morning or late evening for best results.
Weekly soil
application:
1. Use ½ fl. oz. per gallon of
water.
2. Spray weekly for best
results.
PERpose™ applied as a
foliar spray treatment in the field
Foliar application is just
another method for soil application. Apply PERpose™ into the soil,
directly over nursery stock, such as woody ornamentals, bedding plants,
flowering plants, roses, container plants, azaleas, rhododendrons,
conifers and shade trees, to maintain healthy plant
roots.
Initial Application:
1. Use 1 fl. oz. per gallon of
water.
Weekly
application:
1. Use 1/2 fl. oz. per
gallon of water.
2. Spray, or mist, over plants and trees, and into the
soil. Application can be done through irrigation or chemigation
systems.
3. Apply weekly for best results.
For seedbed
treatment,
apply PERpose™ prior to sowing seed.
Use 1 ½ fl. oz. per gallon
of water. Thoroughly wet or drench the seedbed to the point of saturation,
with 60 to 100 gallons of dilute solution per 1000 square feet. Let set
for one hour, then immediately seed soil.
After seeds have germinated,
use 1/2 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Lightly spray or irrigate the soil
and seedlings until thoroughly wetted. For best results, apply weekly
until seed is well established.
Turf applications using
PERpose™, to maintain healthy turf
roots.
For use on all turf types such
as commercial turf, lawns, athletic fields, golf course fairways, greens
and tees.
1. Dilute 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. Apply 1
– 5 gallons of dilute solution per 1000 square feet.
2. Repeat
applications weekly, preferably after grass has been cut, and early in the
morning, or late afternoon, for best results. Applications can be
made during wet or rainy weather. PERpose™ can be injected through
automatic irrigation systems on turf.
PERpose™ reduces/eliminates
scale build up
in pipes, holding tanks, fog/mist heads and filters. PERpose™
will reduce/eliminate scale build up in water and is environmentally
friendly. To reduce/eliminate scale build up, PERpose™ can be
used through injectors, mist/fog systems, sprayers, irrigation and
chemigation systems. PERpose™, used at suggested
dilutions, is not harmful to animals, plants, or humans, even with
long-term exposure.
For evaporative
coolers:
To reduce/eliminate scale build up on pads, add PERpose™ concentrate to
the water initially with a 1:50 dilution and apply to pads. To
reduce/eliminate scale build up on pads, add PERpose™ concentrate to
re-circulating cooler water weekly with a dilution of 1:500, or 1/4 oz.
for each gallon of cooler water.
For Irrigation
Systems:
To reduce/eliminate scale build up in recycled water systems,
humidification systems, mist/fog systems and cool pads, add PERpose™
concentrate to existing water initially with a dilution of 1:500, or ¼ oz.
per gallon of water. Add PERpose™ concentrate to re-circulating
water weekly, with a dilution rate from 1:1000 up to 1:10,000.
PERpose™ test strips are recommended to maintain desired PPM.
